Here We Grow Again: Introducing Oakville Runners
Bronte Runners has a sister group. Oakville Runners meets Sunday mornings at 8:00 AM at Sixteen Mile Sports Complex for members in North Oakville and Burlington.
One of our goals as a group is to build a wider running community. So we are pleased to announce the start of our new sister group: Oakville Runners.
Who it is for
Oakville Runners is based in North Oakville, for members who live in North Oakville and Burlington, and to introduce the club to new runners in those areas.
When and where
Oakville Runners meets Sunday mornings at 8:00 AM at Sixteen Mile Sports Complex, 3070 Neyagawa Blvd, Oakville, starting Sunday, September 6, 2026.
Charles leads the Oakville Runners Sunday run and joins the Bronte group at the harbour on the last Sunday of every month.
How to join
There is a dedicated Facebook page, Oakville Runners 1. The changeover from the older Oakville Runners page is still being sorted out, so until further notice use Oakville Runners 1. Ask in the Bronte Runners Facebook group and we will point you to it.
All Bronte Runners are welcome to join the sister club. One condition: members of Oakville Runners are asked to run with the group at least four times a year. Anyone who does not is suspended from that group for six months.
